Paulin Clock Dials

M.A.R.S was commissioned by Glasgow watch and clock maker Paulin to screen print the clock dials for their collaboration with super-cool California type designers Oh No Type Co.

There were some interesting challenges with this work. I usually print onto rectangles and squares so circles can be a bit tricky - but I have done circles in the past, in particular a set of drum skins for Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.

Euan at Paulin was a great help, making me a laser cut perspex jig and then there was the problem of finding the right ink for printing on the dibond dials……..not a problem - Chris at the excellent Stoke on Trent screen print suppliers Screentec Print Essentials came to the rescue (again) and found me exactly the right ink and even mixed the colours!
